Designing for end consumers in the US, I drove the checkout optimization effort in the Wing app:
• Improve general usability by reducing clicks
• Increase first-time and long term conversion
• Reduce cart abandonment
• Reduce checkout time
I led the project first by piecing together fragmented information from different teams (e.g. single
delivery spot per property, legal compliance on the delivery spot, and improvement of perception tech
stack). Then I realized the opportunity in optimizing the checkout flow to improve both UX and product
metrics. I presented my concept prototype along with user testing findings to the PM to get buy-in and
demoed it to ENG to scope out ENG effort.
